A Day in the Life of Ukraine 3

Dear friends,

I am writing to tell you some interesting facts from my life.

Today I had both a hard and wonderful day. It was the first school day after our autumn holidays. First, I made a lot of efforts to get up early in the morning. The weather was terrible: it was nasty and wet. That’s why I had no wish to go to school. You know, it’s better to sleep in a warm and comfortable bed in such weather. Besides, I knew that we would write a lot of tests today.

But when I got to school, everything changed. I was really glad to meet my friends. They are the students of Grammar School “Perspective”. We exchanged our news about autumn holidays with each other. All of us had a different but exciting time on our holidays. We laughed a lot at a ridiculous incident my friend had come across. My classmates of 7B grade are great!

But the most interesting moment happened with us at the end of a school day. You see, we will have a Halloween party on Friday. That’s why we had to decorate our classroom. We will also act in a small play where I’ll be a wicked sorceress. I’m looking forward to this great event. However, I’m quite nervous as I am afraid I will forget my part on the stage. Guess what? My mum promised to buy me a beautiful fancy dress. Isn’t it great?

So, we had a lot of fun on this day. And I left school in a good mood. I hope my school days will be wonderful and interesting up to the end of the term.

Well, that’s all my news. And what about you? How have you spent this day? Write me soon.

Yours,
Kristina.
